Dr. Aida Estévez Urra has been a tenured professor in the Department of Manufacturing Processes Engineering at the University of Seville’s Higher Technical School of Engineering since 2003. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering (July 1993), a Master’s degree in Manufacturing Processes and Parts Reconditioning (July 1996), and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (2000). She has 32 years of experience in the study, characterization, analysis, and diagnosis of machines and components through vibration analysis. She has participated in several research projects in national calls for proposals, as well as in projects with companies. She has participated in teaching innovation projects that have resulted in publications, articles in journals, and conference contributions. She is the director of three University of Seville degrees in the field of industrial maintenance.
