Astilleros CERNAVAL visita las intalaciones del Smart Manufacturing Lab

El Centro de Innovación y Transferencia UCA-SEA ha recibido hoy la visita de responsables del astillero CERNAVAL. La comitiva ha estado copuesta por Enrique Pérez, director comercial, Jesús Burgos y Eduardo Ruiz. Durante su visita han presentado las instalaciones y servicios que ofrecen en su recinto portuario de Campamento (San Roque). A su vez, los investigadores del Smart Manufacturing Lab han dado a conocer su equipamiento y las facilidades que ofrecen a las empresas. Con esta reunión se ha iniciado la búsqueda de oportunidades de colaboración entre la Universidad y el astillero en innovación tecnológica aplicada a servicios de reparacion de buques.

Los estudiantes del WPI que durante este semestre acoge el UCA-SEA aprovecharon la visita para recabar información sobre su proyecto ‘Evaluación de la viabilidad de WAAM para la reparación de buques en Algeciras’.
